Outside Sales Representative

Job Description

Tripack LLC is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our Equipment Sales team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with prospects and existing clients, and promoting Tripack’s industry-leading packaging equipment solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering tailored solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Achieve agreed upon monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on Tripack’s Equipment offerings.
• Proactively prospect and generate leads through tools provided, trade shows, conferences, and industry networking.
• Actively cross-sell Tripack’s Contract Decorating Division by collaborating with the CoPack Sales Team to grow opportunities within new and existing accounts.
• Conduct on-site customer visits to assess packaging needs and present customized equipment solutions.
• Deliver engaging and persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless sales processes, equipment installations, and customer onboarding.
• Ensure all required sales documents are completed & submitted for each sales transaction, following Tripack’s established procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions using Tripack’s Quote Log and CRM system.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationships.
• Represent Tripack at trade shows, industry events, and training sessions.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in capital equipment, packaging machinery, or related manufacturing industries.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and present complex equipment solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Travel is required.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, on some instances this job may require work in areas where ear and/or eye protection is necessary.
